Rebecca Preiser, PsyD

Dr. Rebecca Preiser is a clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist who works primarily with families, young adults and couples navigating the challenges of emotional and behavioral distress and developmental transitions. In therapy, Rebecca provides evidence based treatment informed by mindfulness, relational, acceptance and commitment (ACT) and attachment-based approaches. To support school success for struggling students, Rebecca also conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to assess for learning and attentional disorders and she offers consultation regarding executive functioning. She works collaboratively with families and schools to help match students’ learning needs with educational accommodations. Her compassionate, interactive and supportive style honors the unique characteristics and context of each individual and family.
